Day 1

Salt Island - a short sail up the Sir Francis Drake Channel brings our guests to Salt Island.  A well protected National Park: we pick up a mooring and we can either snorkel or dive.  Gypsy Princess will arrange Dives for those certified divers (additional cost); but for those that want to snorkel there is plenty to see as well.  Salt Island is home of the wreck the Royal Mail Steamship Rhone.  A relic of the hurricane that hit the BVI’s in 1867 is also the site of the movie “the Deep”.   Salt island indeed produces salt, and a visit to the island is always interested to visit the settlement ruins that are part of this island.  The island continues to pay annual rent for the entire island and paid to English Royal family. One bag of Salt!

After visiting Salt Island, we set sail to Cooper Island.  This little island features a beach club and restaurant, a dive shop, a gift shop, and a rum bar.  There is also a solar powered brewery.  There are five privately owned properties on the island.

Day 2

Virgin Gorda - We sail to the Baths to experience a spectacular formation of boulders that create a series of baths, pathways, and trails.  We explore the gaps that open into massive rocky grottos filled with sea water.  Lots of options here, and while we cannot overnight here, we move further north to North Gorda sound to experience more of this very special island where we can snorkel, experience beach bars and restaurants.

Day 3

Anegada - Guest have the option to take the 15-mile sail to Anegada (The Drowned Island). Famous for its flamingos, lobster, and vast white beaches Anegada is designed for those that want to experience solace and seclusion. Rent a Moke and explore the island (additional fee) and visit the Anegada Beach Club; visit the flamingos, and the occasional goat and cow you will see enroute.

Day 4

Trellis Bay - Sail from Anegada to Trellis Bay on Beef Island - this is a well protector harbor that has some options for kayaking in the mangroves.  Marina Cay is just across the channel to the north that provides tranquil water and snorkeling; and further out is Scrub Island for those that want something more upscale.

Day 5

Cane Garden Bay / Jost Van Dyke - Guana island is one of the most beautiful stretches of white beach to anchor and spend time; and there is Monkey Point to explorer and snorkel.  Closely is also Jost Van Dyke and Little Jost Van Dyke with good anchorages, hiking, beach bars, and the famous Foxy’s. Lots of choices

Day 6

A short sail to Sandy Spit / Green Cay where we anchor and easily swim to shore.  A tiny island in the middle of the Caribbean with palm trees swaying to the wind.   Either snorkel around the island or walk around the island each is an adventure.  We then sail west to Soper’s Hole.  Soper’s is where Blackbeard the pirate was rumored to live. Soper’s offers restaurants, provisions, and gift shops.   We sail then across the challenge to Little or Great Harbor on Peter Island.

Day 7

A morning swim, and then we head back to Trellis Bay!
